We are aware of the news of the supply chain attack impacting Salesloft/Drift and the Salesforce connector with Drift, in particular. While Descartes does use Drift in a limited fashion, we do not make use of the Salesforce integration that was specifically mentioned in the security notice issued by Drift. Nevertheless, we conducted an internal investigation to evaluate and mitigate any potential impacts of our use of this service. At the present time, we are not aware of any impact to our customers related to the attack on Drift.
Out of an abundance of caution, we have disconnected Drift from all of our systems, and will not re-activate the Drift service until we have assurances from the vendor that their security issue is fully understood and resolved.
